Some packaged salads recalled for undeclared allergens — Roswell Business news

(Gray News) - Packaged salads produced by Taylor Farms have been recalled due to an undeclared allergen.According to the Food and Drug Administration, Taylor Farms is recalling its H-E-B Backyard BBQ Chop Salad because it may contain undeclared soy and tree nuts, specifically almonds.“People who have sensitivity or allergy to soy and tree nuts (almonds) may be at risk of a serious adverse reaction if they consume this product,” an FDA press release said.So far there have not been any illnesses or “adverse reactions” reported in connection with the recall. The salads were sold in H-E-B stores across Texas. They can be identified by their UPC code, 041220300457, and their best-by date, Oct. 30, 2026.Customers are asked not to eat the recalled salads and to throw them away or return them to the store for a refund.
